Strain clamps are used for corner, splice, and terminal connections. The spiral aluminum-clad steel wire has strong tensile strength and no concentrated stress, which can protect the optical cable and assist in vibration reduction. The whole set of optical cable tension fittings includes: tension pre-twisted wire and matching connection fittings. The grip of the wire clamp is not less than 95% of the rated tensile strength of the optical cable, which is convenient and fast to install and reduces the construction cost. It is suitable for ADSS optical cable lines with gear distance ≤ 100 m and line angle <25.
The tension clamp is used to fix the conductor or lightning wire on the non-linear tower tension insulator string for anchor function, and is also used to fix the cable of the cable tower.
According to the different structure and installation conditions, the strain clamp can be roughly divided into two categories. The first category: the tensile clamp shall bear all the tensile force of the conductor or lightning conductor, and the grip force of the clamp shall not be less than 90 of the rated tensile force of the conductor or lightning conductor to be installed, but it shall not be used as a conductor. This kind of wire clamp can also be removed after the installation of the wire, and used separately. This kind of clamp has bolt type tension clamp and wedge type tension clamp.
