As an important connection hardware in power grid construction, W type socket hanging plate is mainly used to connect suspension clamp and insulator string, and plays a role in connecting conductor and insulation with other accessories. According to the fault analysis of major domestic transmission lines, the breakdown of transmission lines is mainly due to the wear and fracture of power fittings to varying degrees. Therefore, strength analysis and structural improvement and optimization of power fittings are required. Iron, aluminum or copper products and other metal components widely used in transmission lines are collectively referred to as power fittings. Most of the fittings need to bear a large tension during operation, while protecting good electrical contact, so good quality, correct selection and correct installation of fittings play a vital role in safe operation of transmission lines. W type socket hanging plate is used to connect the steel foot at the lower end of the ball and socket insulator, also known as the ball head. The socket hanging plate can be divided into single socket hanging plate and double socket hanging plate according to different structures and application conditions. When the single suspension insulator string is connected with the suspension clamp, the shorter single socket hanging plate should be selected to reduce the length of the insulator string. When a single tension insulator string is connected to the tension clamp, a long single socket hanging plate shall be used to avoid the jumper of the tension clamp from colliding with the insulator porcelain skirt. If the long single socket hanging plate cannot meet the requirements, a short single socket hanging plate shall be used, and then a hanging plate shall be installed to extend the distance. The actual effect of single socket clevis is the bending condition of the main slot type connecting bolt. There are two structural types of the socket ball of the double socket clevis. The W lock pin structure mode is used below the 16T level, and the R lock pin structure mode is used for the 20T level and above. In the transmission line, the socket hanging plate plays the role of suspension insulator string and suspension clamp, and bears large working stress. Its safety performance is crucial to the transmission line.
